The Mystery Mission Trip is our summer mission experience for students who have completed grades 9-12. Why a mystery trip you ask? Because we want students whose focus is on serving, not a destination and to give them an opportunity to trust God without knowing the outcome (plus, it’s just fun!) In order to keep it a mystery for our participants, we do not tell anyone where we are going until we have loaded the vans and are about to leave. At that time, parents receive a sealed envelope containing all of the pertinent information about our trip (site location, project description, housing, emergency phone numbers, etc).
However there is SOME information we can give about the trip. There will be Bible study, physical labor, trust exercises, and a lot of fun along the way. Once we have finished our work, we plan to have one whole play day before we come home. This day may consist of any of the following: amusement parks, horseback riding, whitewater rafting, canoeing, rock climbing, water sports, hiking, camping, ropes courses, or other activities of similar physical demand.
Parents of those going on the trip will need to attend a special Parents’ Meeting on Sunday, May 20, 2018 at 12:00pm. There will be a notary present to sign all forms for the trip
We hope you will join us on this amazing adventure!
