Congratulations, seniors and senior parents!

Each year our church celebrates our graduating seniors with a special service and luncheon. This year Senior Sunday is on Sunday, May 5, 2019. Here is what you can expect on that day: We would like for the graduates to gather in the church office no later than 10:45 AM so that we can line them up to process as a group for the 11:00 AM Traditional Service. Graduates should be prepared to wear their cap and gown on that Sunday. We will have a special place reserved for them up front as well as space reserved for your families just behind them. After the worship service we will gather the seniors together for group and individual pictures, and then we invite your family to remain with us for a luncheon after the service. You will get more details on the luncheon in a future mailout.

We will also have a slide show during the 8:45 AM Contemporary Service that will highlight our graduates, and any senior in attendance will be recognized, however we ask that all graduates make plans to attend the 11:00 AM service.

Also in preparation for this event, we ask that you have your student fill out the survey found here no later than Wednesday April 24, 2019. You should also e-mail a “baby picture” and a senior portrait/picture to You can download a paper form and/or turn in hard copy photos if this is more convenient. Please return these items even if you will not be able to attend. We would like to include them in our Sunday Morning Celebration. It has also been tradition for families to bring pictures and other mementos for display at the luncheon. There will be tables placed around the ministry center and families can decorate them however they choose. Each student will be given half of a six foot table that can be set up prior to the 8:45 AM Contemporary Service or you may come to the church on Saturday evening from 4-6 PM to set up if that is more convenient.

If you need ideas for decorating your senior table, contact parents from previous years.

We pray that God continues to bless you and, we look forward to hearing from you soon.
